Which one are you?

From Hill Hunters to Savvy Savers - find your cycling alter ego inside.

You're: The "I did it" crew (a.k.a. meet Alicia, who says, "so can you")

You don't need to be a seasoned pro to lock in an unforgettable day on the bike.

Just ask Alicia. On her 40th birthday, she promised herself she’d become a cyclist. One year later, she was crossing the finish line in Whistler.

"I cannot recommend it enough. If you've been on the fence about it, this is your push to do it."

If you're sitting on that same fence, the Medio category (55KM) is your perfect entry point. It’s less about intense training and entirely about the experience:

  • Pure Celebration: Think course-side dance parties, roaring cheer squads, and an epic finish-line festival.

  • The Distance: 55 KM (Medio) of beautiful, achievable open roads & perfect for your first foray.

  • Built-In Support: Alicia didn't do it alone, she got all the skills, confidence, and community she needed to tackle the distance by joining our Fondo Clinics

Now she's on a mission to inspire more people to try the Medio Fondo and The Gran Fondo.

Ready to make your own promise?

The 2026 finisher medals reveal!

Think about the miles, the early mornings, and the months of training. Then imagine crossing the finish line in Whistler for our 17th anniversary and earning right to wear a proof.

Every finisher takes home a medal, but for those aiming for the ultimate test, the legendary one-pound piece of solid Forte medal is back.

You'll know what you've accomplished the exact moment that medal lands around your neck. It’s a massive, physical reminder of everything you put into the summer to get here.

Whether it's your first time or your fifteenth, come and claim what's yours.

Forte: New places opened due to popular demand.

The first-timer (a.k.a. follow Charissa)

post image

Speaking of riding for the first time, meet Charissa.

She just locked in her spot for her first-ever RBC GranFondo Whistler, stepping completely out of her comfort zone to prove that our bodies are capable of incredible, hard things.

As part of our own Project 30by30 initiative to welcome more women to the start line, we're following Charissa's whole journey — first nervous training rides, first hill, first long day in the saddle — all the way to the Whistler finish line.

If you've ever wondered "could I do this?" — ride along with her this summer. She's wondering the same thing, and she's about to find out.
