And in 2025, it helped her cross the RBC GranFondo Whistler finish line in under 5 hours.“I wanted to go under 5 hours,” Caroline told us. “And I did it!”Caroline trained with intention but not intensity. Her prep plan? “One long ride every week, a couple rides during the week, and hills. Always hills.” That discipline paid off, even when the day came with a few wild cards.“The weather was the big anxiety. But it ended up being better than I thought. That last hill, with about 20km to go? You just have to suck it up, buttercup.
